Just wanted to let you guys know that Black Manta killed Arthur Curry Jr (Aquababy) back in Adventure Comics #452. Also, Black Manta is an African-American…it was 1977, all characters with “black” in their name had to be Black. As it relates to Mera since that time she has often had a rocky relationship with Aquaman. Sometimes blaming him for the death of their son. Additionally Mera is from another dimension. At least on one occassion it was explained that being in Aquaman’s dimension was driving her mad and was the explanation for her eradict behavior (or rage) towards Aquaman. He’s abandoned her…she’s abandoned him (as far as married couples go they weren’t the Dibny’s ) I took the scene of her standing over the sleeping Aquaman with a trident as she had thought about killing him at least once.
