    • Chad Bokelman – Co-Host and Historian –

CURRENT

Chad Bokelman is a man of many names. Some know him as Chad, some as Cage Narleigh, and some simply as “that documentary guy”. Chad’s long journey from guest to member of the LanternCast team is long and boring, so don’t ask him. But along the way he originated the fantastic “Larfleeze Report”, culled the archives for the “Best Of” Episode, co-hosts the “LanternCast Presents: Elseworlds” and is the main host for the “LanternCast Presents: Green Lantern/Green Arrow” which looks back on the historic series from the 1970’s! When he’s not recording, Chad dreams of flying in the North-East direction from Texas, learning more about comics and achieving literary success. To that end, Chad has four blogs, The Suit of Souls, Corps Conjecture, The Creem Zine and Isolated Echoes.

    • Mark Marble – Co-Host & Historian –

CURRENT

Mark Marble is a man of one name. Before taking on the burden of co-hosting with Chad, Mark was a long time friend of the show. Now that he’s been saddled with Chad, he’s more a frenemy of the show. Mark’s knowledge of Green Lantern comics makes him a force to be reckoned with…if there was ever a threat that was weak against Green Lantern knowledge. Add to that his legendary “Marble Cave” filled to the brim with all the greatest Green Lantern merch from throughout the ages, and Mark is a total Lanternholic. You can check out Mark’s first appearance on the show back at episode #32 when he came on to discuss the now defunct Facebook Green Lantern game. And yes, that’s right. Chad predates Mark by 1 episode. A fact that Chad will not likely let Mark forget anytime soon. Or ever. Mark also does something called the St Walker Report, although I don’t know what that is. I don’t really think it’s a thing.

    • James Doyle – Producer –

RETIRED

James Doyle is the magic that makes the LanternCast listenable. Hailing from the mythical land of Leprechauns, James is the LanternCast Producer, editing episodes with lightning speed and handling any other technical issue that should arise. Heck, he created the new website you are currently looking at! James is also the reason the LanternCast has a Twitter account (yeah, you can blame him) and keeps everyone up to date with news. When not working on the LanternCast, James is busy speaking with an awesome Irish accent.

On February 25th, 2014 it was announced that, after 3 years, James would be stepping down from his role as EPIC producer of the LanternCast in favor of other pursuits.

    • Jim Ford – Co-Host/Founder –

RETIRED?

Jim Ford is a humorous chap who enjoys reading Green Lantern comics over and over…and over. It’s a sickness, really. In what little time isn’t dedicated to reading Green Lantern and recording The LanternCast, Jim likes to spend time with his amazing wife, and work on his webcomic, FW4D.com, a humor strip that updates 2 to 3 times a week. On second thought, probably best not to hold your breath on those comic updates!

On November 30th, 2014 it was announced that, after 5 years, Jim & Dan would be stepping down from co-hosting the LanternCast.

    • Dan Kutzke – Co-Host/Founder –

RETIRED?

Dan Kurtzke is a whimsical dude that also enjoys reading Green Lantern more than any normal person should. In his spare time he is working on the next great american graphic novel that he wrote, drew and got someone else to ink for him. Wait, what’s that? Oh, sorry, no, he’s inking it himself too. Yikes! In his other spare time, Dan also records another podcast, Not Quite Radio, where he and his cohorts discuss comics, movies, pop culture and other what-have-you.

On November 30th, 2014 it was announced that, after 5 years, Jim & Dan would be stepping down from co-hosting the LanternCast.

    • Jason Grice – Program Director –

RETIRED

Jason Grice is a real stand-up guy…and when he stands up he towers over you. Jason uses his Andre The Giant-like size and strength to strong-arm guests onto the LanternCast. When he isn’t lining up amazing talent for The LanternCast, Jason spends his free time with his fantastic wife and amazingly well-behaved kids.

  • Jack:

In response to my comments on issue reviews and your responses from episode 313. I meant that a changed review format would be more interesting for both you, Mark and Chad. Building off of your comments, I think having a guest like Corwin, Jim, Dan, and other members of the podcast community could add more diverse opinions on issues and maybe even capture some new listeners. That being said, in my opinion episode 313’s review worked.
Robert Venditti is killing it on Hal Jordan and Green Lantern Corps, in my opinion he has a good feel for all the Lanterns. In general, Venditti writes strong character beats, supported by lots of action. Most importantly the book is fun.
